Feeds and Calenders

October 17th, 2007 Mick

Today we launched RSS and iCalendar support for FareFetched airfare data.

iCalendar support means that now you can browse through airfare prices using your own calendaring software like Outlook, or even Google Calendar! This will make it super easy to find a cheap flight which lines up with your schedule, or just a weekend or a public holiday.

RSS feeds means that you no longer have to visit FareFetched to track a particular trip. Instead, search for the trip, then add the search to your RSS reader (Outlook, Google Reader, Bloglines, etc). Simply refer to the feed for the latest data on that search.

Some performance improvements

October 6th, 2007 Mick

We’ve just made a whole heap of optimisations specifically for people using Internet Explorer 6 and on slower dialup connections. You should notice FareFetched is considerably faster, as we’ve worked around multiple IE bugs which were causing problems for some people.

If you notice any issues persist, please contact us!
